Airport Transfers
and Arrivals

Transfers between Heathrow Airport and Heathfield School are organised each Saturday of the course. Each transfer costs £80 which must be paid in advance. The student will be met and transferred by Heathfield staff or a school driver by minibus or car. 

Airport Arrivals

If possible, flight arrivals should be between 09.00 and 18.00.

All girls travelling alone are met at the Customs Exit in their Heathrow airport terminal by staff and school drivers who wear Heathfield T-shirts and carry Heathfield signs and identification. Girls travelling as Unaccompanied Minors will be handed over by the airline staff directly to Heathfield staff. The Unaccompanied Minor service must be booked and paid for with the airline when the ticket is purchased. We strongly recommend using this service for younger and inexperienced travellers.

Heathfield is only about 30 minutes from Heathrow airport and staff will escort students back to school where the registration and welcome procedure will begin.

Arrivals at other airports and transfers on other days are available at an extra cost.

Independent Arrivals

We welcome family and friends who want to accompany a student to Heathfield and will be pleased to offer you a tour of the school. You will also be invited to join your daughter for lunch or supper.

Airport transfer departures

If possible, flight departures should be between 09.00 and 17.00

For girls flying home, we take students to the airport by minibus or car. Our staff help the girls to check in at their Heathrow terminal and then accompany them to passport control. Girls travelling as Unaccompanied Minors are handed over to airline staff after check-in.

Departures from other airports and transfers on other days are available at an extra cost.
